Ari, as his friends call him, was raised in San Antonio, Texas. He attended Alamo Heights High School and moved on to "The University of Texas" and today, is still a die-hard Longhorns fan. Ari finished off at the famed University of California at Berkeley with the school of business, finance and law background under his belt. He spent 27 years in the California market and was one of the top Investment Bankers and bond brokers in the entire Northern California market. He managed a five billion in bond funds and was the chief investment strategist for cities, counties, municipalities, school districts and endowment trusts throughout the State of California. Trading bonds to Wall St. is in his blood and was one of the top derivative traders in floating rate securities. He has expert knowledge of all Mortgage Backed Securities, CMO's, Inverse Floaters, ARM's, economics and global currencies. This made him an excellent candidate to make the transition into the mortgage business. He states, "I take the blessings that the Good Lord gave me and my talents of my past experiences to make a home purchase fun and exciting for our customers. We are all about the customers winning and we do indeed knock the cover off the ball when it comes to that."
Ari is the son of famed symphony conductor, Maestro Vasilios Priakos, and his mother Penelope Priakos, is still active in the real estate business after 37 years. "My parents gave me the direction to excel and taught me the values I carry over with my friends and colleagues alike." He adds, "Without those values, we do everyone a disservice."
